The City carried out a series of interventions that, in addition to the replacement of the trees on Castagnola Avenue, included municipal sewers and the complete renewal of the pavement.
The facility is located on the north side of the swimming pool changing rooms and is powered by a dual-fuel thermal plant using wood chips and oil. It was built by Aziende Industriali di Lugano (AIL).
