For certain roles (lunchtime supervisors, early childhood educators, school canteen assistants, cleaning staff, street cleaning staff, general workers, cashiers, drivers of light or specialised vehicles), it is useful to maintain a pool of applications that can be drawn upon according to the needs of the various services and any available positions. For this reason, some recruitment procedures remain open even when there is no immediate need for additional staff. This allows applications to be collected throughout the year and assessed when a specific staffing need arises.
