MyLugano

MyLugano is the official platform of the City of Lugano designed to experience the city and support local commerce. The app uses a digital currency called LVGA and a cashback mechanism to reward those who shop in the city.

Using the app at the more than 400 businesses including stores, restaurants, museums, trainings, and lidos and accumulate LVGAs with cashback. You can also purchase LVGAs in your MyLugano app and pay with those when you are in town so you automatically receive cashback with each purchase.

The system is open to all residents, visitors, tourists and completely free of charge. Just download the app and register in a few simple steps to be able to:

• Make payments in LVGA
• Receive up to 10 percent cashback
• Purchase LVGAs
• Send and receive LVGA between users
• Reserve admissions to events or at municipal lidos
• Manage a digital wallet
• Collect non-fungible tokens (NFTs)

Lugano Eventi

The Lugano Eventi App provides an overview of all the events happening in the city. The app offers information about concerts, theater performances, art exhibitions, film festivals, food and wine events, sports, and family activities, thanks to a constantly updated calendar showcasing everything Lugano has to offer.

The Lugano Eventi App allows users to:

• browse the complete event calendar and filter by category, day and time slot, location, MyLugano discounts, and free events
• view must-see events for today, tomorrow, and the coming days
• save favorite events
• access detailed information for each event (date and time, location, description, any applicable fees, and reservation or ticket purchase options)
• create a personal profile, allowing users to select favorite categories and venues and receive tailored suggestions
• receive notifications for favorite events to stay updated on special promotions and public service announcements
• share events via social media, messaging apps, and email
